Germany convertible driving tours

With its rich cultural and political history, Germany is without a doubt one of the most developed countries in the world. As the second largest exporter and the third largest importer of goods in the world, it represents the biggest net contributor to the European Union (EU). Germany was a founding member of European Community in 1957, and with its nearly 84 million inhabitants today, it is the most populous country of the European Union created in 1993.

The tours start close to Munich, capital of Bavaria and the third largest city of Germany. Bavaria is the biggest state of Germany, home of BMW and Oktoberfest.

Roads and Driving

Germany is known for its no-speed limit freeways called "Autobahn". Its system of roads is dense and comprehensive. You will find plenty of great riding in the south, where well-maintained roads wind through rolling hills covered with forests, fairytale valleys and sparkling lakes.

Climate & Environment, When to Go

The weather may vary depending on where you go. Germany can be visited in spring or autumn, although the months before the hot summer can surprise you with lots of rain. The southern Alpine region can be especially unpredictable, even snowy, as late as May.

Sights, People, Food and Drink

Visiting Bavaria is like jumping into a river of historical sights, museums, castles, good drink and food. Munich is the center of beer and weiβwurst (traditional Bavarian sausage). You will find the most famous beerhouses there, and even more if you attend the Oktoberfest. Visit monumental palaces like Nymphenburg or Schleissheim, head out on the romantic road between Würzburg and Füssen and visit King Ludwig's castle Neuschweinstein, or ride down to Berchtesgadener land which is considered the most beautiful vacation spot in Germany.
On the way make sure you taste their fine cuisine.
