SMTours d.o.o., Trpinčeva 37a 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenija, EU
Our Adriatic Convertible Tours team is not merely a group of people working together; the team is a group of enthusiastic individuals sharing respect, trust and care for each other, which we believe are the keys to our success.
As the Founder and Owner of Adriatic Moto Tours, Matej started the company as a way to combine his passion for riding motorcycles with a desire to share the beauty of his homeland with other people.
At a time when the countries of the former Yugoslavia were just opening their doors to tourism, Matej invited people to experience the exhilaration of riding the Julian Alps and the Adriatic Coast with him. Matej has a degree in Marketing from the University of Ljubljana and has been riding motorcycles for 25 years. He has been guiding tours since the company's inception fourteen years ago. His personal dedication to quality and customer service, as well as his vast knowledge and years of experience, will help ensure that you have the best motorcycle vacation possible.
Martina has been with the company since its start in 2004.
At first she was helping Matej in the afternoons after her regular job and joining the tours during her holidays, driving the support van. An avid traveler herself, it was somehow logical that Martina would join the company sooner or later. She quit her regular job and officially joined AMT in 2006. The early days were special, as one needed to do all the jobs the agency required. In the past 14 years, the company grew and Martina now runs the office and covers the marketing department. Her favorite job task is talking to clients either at the MOA Rally in the USA or in Australia at the Ulysses AGM. She loves discovering new destinations and meeting new people. If she could, she would be travelling all year round and spending most of her time in nature.
After being a professional tourist guide for 12 years, Ana ˝retired˝ behind the desk at AMTours in 2017.
A lifelong passion for travel and a short love affair with Honda Hornet have led her to the right office job, the one dealing with motorcycle tours. Having spent so many years touring with groups, communicating with our clients through e-mails came naturally to her. And, having the field experience she loves answering clients' inquiries and advising about every little detail when planning their holidays. In her free time Ana enjoys many outdoor activities, pretty much any sport that takes her to the mountains.
Peter joined ACT at the end of 2021 as a tour designer and tour guide.
He became a tireless backpacker in his twenties and for over 15 years he spent more time traveling than being at home. Looking for adventure but also searching for a job he could do, he later started as a tour guide. First in South East Asia and India and then he started taking travelers to all continents of the world. Once he discovered much of the world on two feet, he switched to two wheels. Now, riding as much as he can and as far as he can, you would have a tough time separating him from his boxer engine.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management
Languages: Slovenian, English
In my home garage: BMW R1200GS Adventure
Hobbies: cycling, long walks, boxing, cooking
Favorite Tour: Sardinia and Corsica

When I grow up... "I wanna be like Mike".
Blaž is an avid life-long motorcycle enthusiast, having begun riding at the age of seven. Since then, his life has revolved around all-things motorcycle.
He is contributing editor for Motosvet, the largest Slovenian motorcycle news and information web portal. He also tests and races motorcycles and cars, and was the winner of one of the categories in the Slovenian SuperMoto few years ago. He has an excellent working knowledge of motorcycle and car mechanics and is in charge of purchasing and maintaining our motorcycle and car fleet. His favorite motorcycle is a Triumph Speed Triple. You're likely to meet Blaž if you book a self-guided tour or rental convertible car from us. He'll get you comfortable with your new car, and as a native Slovenian, give you a few ideas on where to drive and what to see.

Luka has been working as a tour guide for 15 years and has always been keen on motorbikes and cars.
Five years ago he got a call from AMT, and it seemed like a dream came true. Working in tourism combining it with the passion for motorbikes - what more can one want? He lives 100 km away from Venice and knows Italy very well. Italy is also his favorite country in which to travel; speaking fluent Italian makes it easier for him to understand their way of living and the culture. He also speaks English, French, Spanish, Croatian and Serbian. When he is not riding, he is skiing or playing tennis.
Niko joined us because he loves the adventure.
Since his early ages, he was discovering the beauty of motorcycles. His early days of an off road racing later evolved into his main passion - motorcycle travel. Living in Portugal, Western Africa and travelling most parts of the world, he has learned many languages, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish among them. In his free time, he likes to relax and read, practice a variety of extreme sports or simply grab his motorcycle and ride it into the horizon. Niko's favorite countries to visit are Italy and Czech Republic because of the beautiful scenery and great food.
Rok and his friends were fixing old mopeds in his home garage, which is how he started riding motorcycles at age twelve.
Since then he has explored the world on two wheels. Starting with Slovenia on his Yamaha DT125, he fanned out into neighboring countries on bigger and bigger bikes until he settled on a BMW 1150GSA. Then Rok rode South, Central and North America for a year, during which his passion for riding only grew stronger. To pursue his dream he became a tour guide for Adriatic Moto Tours, and he has been with the team since 2013. Rok has also discovered a love for video production. He can't get away from his cameras even when he is riding. That is why you will most likely meet him with a camera on top of his helmet.

Because his mother was afraid of bikes, he made it a top secret mission to apply for a driving license when officially he was taking dance classes. He has been working as a tour guide from his early twenties, combining big bus tours around Europe and taking small group tours overseas. Tomaž has been with AMT since 2012. Unfortunately, his full time job in a hospital doesn't allow for more than a few tours a year.
Born and raised in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Anže started traveling by bicycle at first but soon noticed that motorcycle is a true adventure for him.
Bought his first bike at age 24 and hasn't stopped riding since. Anže has ridden most of Europe, some of the Middle East, USA & Mexico. Decided to try his luck in Los Angeles and lived there for a couple of years till he finally landed at AMT in 2014. His motto is "Love, love for humanity, nature, animals and motorcycles."
Mitja is coming from Slovenia and has been riding motorcycles since he was a child.
He enjoys travelling by motorcycle, especially around Eastern Europe, exploring the most remote, beautiful regions. He joined AMT despite having worked in a law office at the time, for his real passion was exploring the world on a motorcycle and showing it to other people. He is eager to learn and discover new things in life. He is also working as a skipper, sailing the Adriatic Sea. He likes to spend his free time with his family or in the mountains and researching history.
Matej grew up in a small town near Slovenia’s capital, Ljubljana. Beautiful scenery overlooking the mountains drew him to mountain biking as a hobby.
Being a tourist guide for the last 10 years, joining AMT seemed like a next logical step forward combining his second hobby - leading motorcycle tours in Europe. When Matej is not guiding motorcycle tours for us, he is likely to be found on a challenging enduro or downhill mountain bike trail here or in some other part of the world.
Travel has been an intrinsic part of his life ever since he can remember.
From a young age he has always been intrigued by the endless possibilities of new places; every trip revealed new horizons, a complete mystery to him at the time. Growing up he would often hop on his bike and let the road take him to different places, different worlds. When he started working as a tourist guide he was completely taken over by this job. Despite taking the same roads over and over again, he could find excitement and inspiration in all of his journeys. Joining AMT team as a tour guide was a step forward combining two of his big passions: travelling and motorcycle riding. Or as Boris likes to say, he now lives the life by the words of Henry Miller: One's destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things.
Primož, also known as The Pineapple, joined Adriatic Moto Tours back in 2013. He's our guide and photographer.
Always on a lookout for new adventures, Primož enjoys travelling. Either for work - guiding - or privately. His dream come true would be exploring West America in his "Americana". Beside motorcycles he loves old V8 cars and also has a strong bond with aviation. He enjoys everything that runs on petrol. He's always engaged in new things and likes diversity. No wonder his field of work covers everything from IT and telecommunications, aviation, and marketing, as well as guiding for AMT. After his travels he always likes returning back home - to the capital of the "chicken" country – Ljubljana.
